This award shines a brighter light on a specific K-12 discipline each year, from support staff, to school resource officers, to nurses. This year, we’re proud to recognize those who are helping students thrive in the face of increasing social-emotional challenges: school counselors.

Their role is to maximize success for all students by helping them develop their social-emotional skills and plan for the future.
