The arrival of autumn brings shorter days and darker nights. We’re ready to keep the lights on by kicking off our LifeChanger Spotlight Award!

This award shines a brighter light on a specific K-12 discipline each year, from support staff, to school resource officers, to nurses. This year, we’re proud to recognize those who are helping students thrive in the face of increasing social-emotional challenges: school counselors.

It goes without saying, but school counselors have a lot on their plate. Their role is to maximize success for all students by helping them develop their social-emotional skills and plan for the future. That role has only gotten more challenging with increasing concerns around school safety and students’ mental health. Now more than ever, take the time to say “thank you,” for everything your school counselor has done.

What they’ll get

• An individual profile on our website where students, parents, and colleagues can leave supportive comments
• A congratulatory certificate
• Shout-outs on our social media pages and in the local paper
• The chance to win a $5,000 cash prize to share with their school

Nominate a K-12 school counselor and give them some well-deserved recognition today.
